From Central and South America, this pretty little butterfly named the Tarricina was one of my favourites of the day with it’s lovely copper and black wings. It hung out on this leaf for the longest time, taking in it’s surroundings.

Found in Central and South America, these little guys were very fast and didn’t like their photo being taken. I was so happy when I captured this one! I love the contrast with the red, yellow, and black in his wings. They almost clash with the pink flower this guy is sitting on, but look so pretty at the same time.

From Central and South America, these guys are bright blue when their wings are open, but the only time they seemed to open their wings was when they were flying. Very pretty with the flash of blue floating through the conservatory.
