Innukshuks and Blue Sky

These Innukshuks (aka Stonemen) have been built by students along the shoreline on Pelee Island as a testament to the island’s perseverance. Among all of these stonemen (not shown), there is a huge one that I would guess is between 10 and 12 feet tall. Quite a sight!

Canadian Skies

The clouds looked so amazing today against the blue sky that I had to use them as a photo challenge photo. Looks as though it’s really windy way up there the way the clouds are painted across the sky.

Behind the Clouds

I love taking photos of clouds, especially ones with a bit of sunlight behind them. Also, now that I have figured out how to take them properly so the sky will actually look blue with my camera, I love taking cloud photos more!

Flying High by Corinne Elizabeth Cowherd

Flying High

What a great day to go flying! I had gone out into my backyard to get some cloud photos as the sun was shining and I knew I get some nice shots. While doing so, this airplane flew overhead and I had to snap a photo of it. It looks like he was coming from Hamilton Airport and was heading to Brantford Airport. Love these kinds of unexpected shots!

Blue Through the Branches

The branches of the White Birch Tree on the front lawn seemed to reach towards the lovely blue sky this morning. We haven’t had very many blue sky days this Winter, so this was the perfect opportunity to capture it.
