Photo of the Day – Waterfall

This waterfall was at the end of a pathway at the Butterfly Conservatory It had a bench that you could sit and watch the finches and some butterflies that liked to rest near here in the foliage and the rocks along the side. I like how the palm branch is across the front of the falls, making an interesting, layered photograph.

Photo of the Day – Fly Fisherman’s Heaven

I took this last Autumn (2010) along the trails of Apps Mill. The body of water is Whitemans Creek. It wasn’t until I got home that I realised I had captured the fly fisherman in the photo! I just thought how interesting and beautiful the creek flowed along, over the rocks and just how serene the imagery was. How peaceful it was that day.
